Ilam Tea Challenge 2020
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Tea Station Inc. initiated this challenge, encouraging 65 tea producers to participate in healthy competition. This effort led to several international awards for Nepali orthodox teas, dispelling myths about market limitations and opening new opportunities.
Nepal Tea Challenge 2024
Tea Station Inc. organised this event on August 27th, 2024 at Chhaya Center, Thamel, Kathmandu bringing together over 50 orthodox tea producers and showcasing more than 100 tea varieties. The competition aimed to highlight the quality of Nepal Tea and advocate for the establishment of a Tea auction centre to support fair pricing and international recognition and concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony to recognise excellence in tea production.
Ambassadors' Retreat Program 2025
A significant diplomatic event held in Shree Antu, Ilam from April 13th to 15th, 2025. Organised by Nepal Tourisn Board and led by Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, over 12 ambassadors and Charge d' Affairs representing their respective countries as well as representative from ICIMOD participated in the retreat. Tea Station Inc. had a great opportunity to showcase their 12 different varieties of Speciality Teas.
Sagarmatha Sambaad, 2025
The Sagarmatha Sambaad was conducted in Kathmandu from May 16–18, 2025, bringing together delegates from various countries and organizations for dialogue on global issues. Alongside the discussions, the program also featured a special tea-tasting and exhibition stall showcasing organic Ilam tea, aimed at promoting Nepal’s unique tea culture and introducing its rich flavors to the international community.
